I’ve been to their outlet at Martin Road and had good impressions there so I wanted to visit the Fullerton outlet when it opened. It would be easier to call their concierge for reservations for their online system doesn’t really seem to work. It was a really hot afternoon so I was glad we were seated indoors and the interior was done up really nicely

Smokey Chicken w Green Ponzu $11

We really like the tsukune. Grilled really well, you can taste the smokiness of the chicken and the tenderness of the meat. Would definitely order this again

Nest of Fries $14

Crispy Shredded Potatoes, White Truffle Oil, Wasabi Mayo, Teriyaki Balsamic Sauce

We added this on last minute cos every table seemed to order this. This was literally a nest of fries. Its texture reminded me of onion rings, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. And if you are one of those that love soft fries, well, they are pretty similar. Just that it was quite a challenge to tear the fries apart

Jypsy Salmon Tacos $16

Salmon, Seaweed, Avocado & Tomato Salsa, Wasabi Mayo, Ikura

It was a simple dish of tacos, but yet they were appetising and were good as small bites

Bluefin & Chitose Crudo $25

Semi-Dried Tomatoes, Hot Basil Ponzu

This dish, in my opinion, was pretty normal. I thought the tomatoes were pretty good but that’s about it

Obasan’s Sticky Beef Soft Buns $16

Pulled Beef Shortribs, Crunchy Cabbage, Toasted Soft Butter Brioche

The beef buns were actually done pretty well. Tender short ribs infused with such a delectable gravy on a buttered brioche. Though I thought the portion was quite small. It felt like they should be classified under ‘Small Plate’ than ‘Big Plate’

We were too full for desserts, but it was a good lunch. And with views overlooking Marina Bay, what’s not to like? For those working in the area, it’s an option to consider for business lunch as well
