Dal.komm Coffee – Popular Korean Cafe Lands in Centrepoint

Dal.komm Coffee, that popular coffee place that got featured in Korean dramas opened its flagship at The Centrepoint. You will probably be more acquainted as the Descendants of The Sun (DOTS) cafe as it got featured in the show, and cos there is always only one cafe in Korean dramas. But since Dal.komm Coffee also recently got featured in Goblin, we will just call it the popular Korean coffee place in Korean dramas.

Mango Cube $8.50

Milk and mango bits. Give it a thorough stir before drinking if not you feel like you are drinking milk. The combination reminded me of mango pomelo dessert. Comforting and familiar, nothing special nor adventurous

Matcha Pie $8

The pie has a robust matcha taste, so deep and earthy, in fact it was a little too thick. But the friends like it. I thought the crust was pretty tasty

Injeolmi Bingsu $8.90

Bingsu in a cup? That’s new. Aesthetically pleasing but not very functional. It was so difficult to eat without worrying if the ice is gonna topple. I think sometimes the good ol’ bowl might work better. Taste-wise, it’s alright

The cafe also has live music from time to time. Do check out their Facebook page for updates. Honestly, this place feels like Starbucks, the Korean version. A good place to chill with okay food and drinks. It’s the kind where you don’t mind going back if you just need somewhere to catch up
