Newly opened at Millenia Walk, Plentyfull whips up two different concept – salads and grain bowls during lunch and a fusion of Asian Western dishes during dinner. Since the location is near to many offices nearby, the idea of having fresh seasonal produces for the health conscious would fit with many. The restaurant also had a small retail section and a grocer corner where you can pick up snacks and beverages for a tea time snack
Love the modern and spacious industrial design with greeneries around
Tempeh and Tofu Fries $12
Fermented soy beans and pressed tofu fritters with sambal belachan
A simple tofu dish, deep fried to perfection. And I thought the combination with sweet sauce and belachan goes quite well. I must add the dish gets quite jelat after awhile
Grilled Kin Yan Farm Mushrooms $20
Very earthy flavors complemented by the sweet and smokey onion sauce and the pickled radish to give an added texture
Glazed Mangalica Pork Jowl $26
Five spiced pineapple, buckwheat and bacon porridge
I actually like this dish. It feels homey, with variants of sweet bacon bits. The star is the pork jowl which was executed to give that slightly charred taste, tender and flavorful pork
We were there for dinner so we had the opportunity to try a variance of dishes. The menu changes from time to time so customers can always go back to find new dishes in accordance with their produces. I thought the food there is pretty decent, though not necessarily everything is a hit with everyone. But I think this place has potential, with simple food, sincere cooking and friendly staffs
