Luke’s Lobster Singapore – Is It Really Worth It?

I first tried Luke’s Lobster in Tokyo and I thought it actually tasted pretty good. So when Luke’s Lobster opened their first shack in Singapore, I wanted to see if it’s any good. The tiny shack is located at the ground floor of Isetan so if you are coming from the underground escalator, walk towards the left and you should be able to see it

Yup, this is how small the place it. 23 seats to be exact. So maybe opt for takeaway if you can’t wait

Luke’s Trio $33.50 Clam Chowder $11.50 Tyrrells Chips $2.90

(From Right) Half Lobster Roll, Half Crab Roll, Half Shrimp Roll

I went for the trio cos I wanted to give all 3 a try. The lobster roll was not bad but it could have been better. The crab was meh and the shrimp roll was surprisingly decent. Love the toasted buttered bun but I wish the fillings could be more enticing

Sweet juicy shrimps

I say the clam chowder was good. Creamy, hearty and filling with potatoes and fresh clams. If you think a bun itself wouldn’t fill you up, then give the soup a go as well

To be honest, I wouldn’t queue more than 30 minutes for this. It’s not one of the best I’ve tasted but that’s just personal preference. I have friends telling me they actually quite enjoy the lobster rolls. So give them a try and see how it goes!
