Tamashii Restaurant – Rebranded with A New Concept

Tamashii at North Canal road was known as a robatayaki restaurant but they have rebranded into one that is focusing on Kappo cuisine. Went there for lunch one day cos their lunch sets look good and we went for the 6-course lunch priced at $68

The lunch consists of salad, sashimi platter, grilled fish, oyako don, miso soup & dessert of the day but we also added on a truffle chawanmushi

I thought the food was actually quite decent and it was way too filling. My favourite was the grilled fish. It was excellent. The sashimi was fresh and the chawanmushi delicious with a strong taste of truffle. The oyako don was comforting with the runny egg

You can also go for their other value set lunch sets which include a variety of choices. I thought this would make quite a good option for business lunches or for special occasions and lunch was definitely more value for money
