Cafe Milligram – Hidden Cafe in CBD Serving Organic Coffee from Australia

Cafe Milligram is quite hidden in a corner of Marina One and if you don’t specially walk to that area, you probably do not realise its existence. With a bright spacious feel, the cafe focuses on serving organic coffee blend and wholesome organic food. With beans from Australia’s Cherry Beans Coffee, the cafe also serves breakfast, lunch and dinner menu

Flat White $4.50

A blend using 100% Arabica coffee, we thought the coffee tasted pretty decent and at $4.50, it probably is one of the cheapest coffee around in CBD

Truffle Delight $18.50

75 Degree C Sous Vide Scrambled Eggs, Bacon Crumbs, Potato Rosti, White Truffle Oil, Brioche

We thought the truffle delight was pretty good and we like how the egg is done

MG Steak Sandwich $19.90

Sous Vide Sirloin Steak, House Made Guacamole, Baby Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese. Romesco Salsa, Ciabatta, Sweet Potato Chips

Unfortunately I thought the sweet potato fries tasted better than the sandwich itself. The steak was slightly on the tougher end and the sauce tasted weird

Sous Vide Salmon $19.90

Soba Noodle, Edamame, Citrus Soy Dressing, Sesame Seed, Cauliflower Florets, Parmesan Chips

I didn’t like the toss on the soba. The taste felt similar to wasabi and I thought it just didn’t go well together. It was disappointing given there were much nicer salmon soba elsewhere in CBD

I thought the cafe looks promising but given the hits and misses, it might just be a random cafe I don’t mind visiting occasionally. Perhaps their coffee and breakfast menu is worth a visit but that’s about it
