It wasn’t a planned visit but we just happened to drop by after dinner in the area. And coincidentally, one of the bosses used to be from Workspace (at MBFC) so we know we are in a for a good cup of coffee. Yep, if you like the coffee from Workspace you probably will like the coffee here as well

The cafe is pronounced as 5-20 Cooperative, the area code of this space

The interior of the place was welcoming and it makes you feel like coming home for a coffee. They have a second floor as well but it was too dark to venture so we just stayed below

Latte $5

The beans were roasted using a mix of Brazilian, Nicaraguan and Indian roasts which gave a lingering aroma. Well rounded and velvety, we enjoyed their coffee very much

Butterscotch pudding $10

I thought their pudding was okay. Maybe cos I was subconsciously comparing it to the caramel pudding I had in Paris. The texture here wasn’t smooth, neither was it melt in the mouth kind of fantastic

Bread Pudding $10

Highly recommended by them to give this a try. The bread pudding was supposed to be served warm/hot but ours came cold. Nevertheless, the use of criossant gave the buttery fragrance alongside the sweet eggy texture

Honestly, their desserts fell flat. But I think I would still drop by for a cup of coffee if I’m in the area. The place eludes a relaxed ambience which you can enjoy some me-time in there
