291. Barpazza (Capital Square)

The colleague brought me to this place at Capital Square some time back for lunch saying it’s his favourite pizza place so I have to see for myself how good he exclaimed to be. The place probably isn’t something you’ll catch sight of easily but it’s located right opposite Shin Kushiya and it was still pretty empty when we reached.

Classic Tomato Bruschetta

Love the bread here. Feels like sour dough though I’m too too sure whether it is. It’s a good bread starter in my opinion.

Bacon with Bratwurst

Bacon was good, though a lil over fried overall. It feels like one of those if you finished the entire plate, you’ll get a sorethroat thereafter.

Smoked Duck/Pesto Chicken Pizza

Pizza was surprisingly good. Went for half half cos the colleague wanted chicken and we wanted the duck.

White Wine Vongole

This is probably one of the better white wine vongole I’ve tasted around. Sweet and flavorful and the pasta was cooked just right.

Food was surprisingly not bad. So if you are looking for a decent and cheap Italian fare in CBD area, why not give Barpazza a try.
