Saveur has a new outlet, located right smack at Far East Plaza. Gave it a try though I don’t really had good memories of it cos the portion was so tiny. But I got to admit, the food was pretty good. This place is known for being one of the cheapest French food around so if you are interested, you can always give it a try if you don’t mind the tiny portions.
This place is definitely smaller than the one at Purvis Street, the crowd was also not as much when we were there on a weekend
Ordered the Special Menu so this is Chicken Veloute served with chicken rillettes, foie gras butter w toast bread
The soup was okayy, not much of foie gras taste and the toast was a lil too hard
Pan fried duck breast w mixed spice, polenta cake, pear compote, dried fruits & duck jus
Love the duck and the dried fruits. I think the cake was a bit weird though.
Pretty pretty plating
Braised short ribs
One of their best
Pistachio panna cotta
Love this dessert. I think they had this done very very well.
I honestly am not really a big fan of Saveur but if you ever want to give this restaurant a try and the crowd at Purvis street always turn you off, you can hope over to this new one at Far East Plaza! Here goes,
