221. Folks Collective @ Cross Street

A wanted to try a cafe so I suggested trying Folks Collective, a new place hidden in the heart of China Square. It’s a pretty cool place, serving thai food in a vintage setting. Okay I know the combination isn’t one you will expect but it’s something different for a change 🙂

It’s like a bar on one side and restaurant on the other

It’s really vintage here. Even the sitting table is a sewing machine. haha

Cute table setting, but the thai ice milk tea is REALLY bitter 😦 like it doesnt taste like the normal yummy thai ice milk tea it should be

Our tingkat lunch 🙂

I would admit this whole concept is very innovative. The set lunch is even placed in a trio of vintage containers though the portion is really really small, like not filling at all. But then again, for that price you can’t complain too much right.

The food is not too bad. Would come back to try their ala carte the next time round! For those working in cbd area, this is a place you can visit! 🙂
