It has been a long awaited adventure for Disney cruise! We were supposed to set sail in January however due to the delay, our schedule only permitted us to set sail last month. Nevertheless, we were very excited! Our port arrival was scheduled to be 12pm however the friend was late (!!!) so in the end, we only checked in at 12.30pm. We dropped off our luggage first before proceeding for security check

Check in was actually pretty smooth and fuss-free. We skipped the photo op here and decided to just board the ship straightaway

You can also buy the internet package here. Disney Cruise allows you to connect to their app and use the in-app messaging for free. However without buying the internet package, WhatsApp connection is spotty and IG doesn’t really load well. So I recommend buying the package. At least the connection worked well for me and I could upload my IG stories with no issues
Once you board the ship, you are on level 7 Mid-ship so you can head to D’lounge which was also on level 7 to change your dining rotation, or proceed to level 6 Guest Services for everything else. So we wanted to give Dazzle & Delight package a try but we were already number 16 on waitlist which was like what…? So apparently they give priority to concierge guests. We also requested for private table seating so we don’t need to share the table with other guests

We were really captivated by the size and interior of the ship

Love seeing pictures of Mickey & Minnie all around ❤

The ship has so many artworks which was a feast for the eye!

A photo of the Garden stage on level 10

A crew member volunteered to help us take a group photo and the friend lamented on his not-so-great photo skills. lol

First priority onboard was lunch first, and we proceeded to Mowgli’s Eatery on level 10 which was a quick service stop offering Indian dishes

which was surprisingly delicious. Inside joke – we wanted to pay for the meal but realised this was already part of the cruise package. I thought most of the Indian dishes actually tasted quite legit. The friends said this was a very good start to the holiday
After which we proceeded to walk around the ship a little while making our way to our room. Key cards will be ready at 2pm so it was just in time

Decided to take a photo of the directory in case we need it

And here’s our stateroom 11376! Which was Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. I was surprised to see our luggage already delivered which was really fast

And the room (facing the ocean) with a Lion King artwork
Since we wanted to enjoy the aircon..

We decided to decorate our door – Winnie the Pooh themed! 🙂

And the friend’s door – House of Cats, that were cats from different Disney movies. How many can you recognise?
We were done with the deco in no time so we decided to explore the ship a little

Bewitching Boba & Brews which feature Ursula, Flotsam, and Jetsam from The Little Mermaid

Nemo and Dory at Disney Discovery Reef

Checked out Taverna Portorosso and Wayfinder Bar

Which they were trying very hard to sell us their merch. lol

We went back to Garden stage, found ourselves a seat and waited for Let’s Set Sail show by Captain Mickey & Friends to begin

Which was very, very cute. The characters danced with so much energy and enthusiasm in this hot weather which was quite impressive. It’s a show you must not miss. They have different timings for this show so you definitely can find one show to watch
Weather was so unbearable we decided to go hunt for icecream at Wheezy’s Freezies on level 17

and it’s vanilla & chocolate today!
Also walked over to Pizza planet that was just a few meters away. The place was very crowded as kids and adults were enjoying their splash in the pool while enjoying a snack

Headed one floor up to level 18 to check out Ironcycle Test run and Groot Galaxy Spin

We wanted to queue for Ironcycle Test run but they closed the queue for the mandatory drill which happens at 3.30pm

So we headed back down to San Fransokyo Street on level 7 to check out Big Hero Arcade and also, enjoyed the aircon

The deco was really on point

All the details were so cute!
Our mandatory drill was also located on level 7 so we went over to the meeting place shortly. Also the WhatsApp group chat was abuzz with activities that character photo-op was opened for booking the next day. So while waiting for the drill to be over, we were also busy tapping our phones. And we managed to book Minnie and Baymax! Each stateroom is only allowed one photo op for the entire journey. So if you managed to book it on Day 2 for Minnie, you won’t be allowed to book Minnie for other days. If you had booked and missed/cancelled, that counts as well

We headed back up to Infinity Bar on level 18 after the drill so we can watch as the ship leaves the dock

Happy Hour was going on, so better still

Also tried the complimentary hotdog that you can choose from an array of toppings

Drinks and hotdog were unfortunately, very normal. lol

Still a happy us that we are on the cruise
We stayed here for quite abit cos we were waiting for the ship to leave, which finally left about 4.45pm before going down to the shops cos they opened once they are on international water

Taking a shot of the Disney Discovery Reef from above which still looked quite empty in my opinion

So since we were checking out the shops, I went to hunt for Disney ears for the friend. All merchandise from the ship are cruise-exclusive so you can only find them onboard. And the shops became my best friend for certain reason. lol

We also get to enjoy Lucy’s live at Tiana Bayou’s Lounge which you can also request for songs you like. Lucy sings really well so I recommend you go listen to her sing
We went back to Big Hero arcade to kill time cos we didn’t manage to finish our game. I was really bad at it. I’m just bad at games in general. So while the friends were queuing for our turn, I head back to our room to charge my portable charger cos I had forgotten to charge it

And taking in the sights of the artwork along the staircases

And was surprised to find the amount of pixie-dust we had received in a mere 3 hours? Wow, I’m very impressed. I brought all the gifts back into our room whenever I had an opportunity just cos I was afraid people stealing our stuffs

Went back to the room to find my towel deco for the evening for turn-down service, with 3 pieces of chocolate. We barely touched the chocolates cos we had no time for it. lol

And also grabbed the goodie bags we had packed for the crew which was an array of local snacks we had grown up with! Yes we packed goodie bags for pixie-dusting and goodie bags for the crew cos they don’t have many opportunities to get off the ship

I had to take a photo of our Disney family we brought for our trip. Yes I brought all my ears cos why not right? We took a quick break after our time at the arcade just cos we were drained from the hot sun and just wanted some time to refresh ourselves before dinner
Soon enough, it was almost time for dinner so we head to level 8 – Hollywood Spotlight Club for our first rotational dining

We were welcomed by a series of photos of Mickey & friends

And signature by Mickey which was awww

Dining hall was huge with a stage in the middle. We were seated in a corner but that didn’t rob away our fun. The service staffs would follow you for all the dinner services throughout the entire journey so you have some familiarity

Starting with some complimentary warm bread

Sautéed Maitake Mushrooms (left) Porcini-Spiced Ahi Tuna Sashimi (right)

Thai Shrimp Pumpkin Soup (left) Burrata Mozzarella Cheese & Prosciutto di Parma (right)
Honestly the pumpkin soup was the nicest out of the appetisers. The rest were pretty.. meh. But some friends soon came around to entertain us

First up, Mickey ❤

Followed by Daisy who was so in her element. She dirtied her scarf but brushed it off like nothing happened. So anyway, point to note was that you need to be seated for the characters to come to your table. If you start standing up, they will not come to you

And of cos Minnie came around as well, politely waving to everybody. Donald was being Donald. He was super cute and playing with the friend

Hainanese Chicken Rice (left) Peppered Filet Mignon (right)
The chicken tasted a little weird while the quality of the beef was bad

Roasted Butternut Squash Risotto (left) Cilantro-marinated Grouper Filet (right)
The rice dishes were a little better cos the rice was actually cooked pretty well

Moving on to desserts which we were served one of everything (gasp). We were full beyond words. The ube creme brulee was the crowd’s favourite and was surprisingly quite tasty in my opinion

Our server happily brought us the Mickey bars but our stomach was already in a struggle to digest what we already had. And we were wondering if we were in time to catch our show
To be honest, food wasn’t wow. I was more wowed by the entertainment and the characters and they really made a difference to the whole dining experience
So after dinner ended, we went down to Walt Disney theatre to catch Disney Seas The Adventure

We were down quite late so we only managed to get the seats at the side. If you want a good seat, recommend to go at least 30 mins before showtime
Disney Seas the Adventure was quite cute. Captained by Minnie and Goofy, it brought us all the familiar songs of Disney. Or at least, we didn’t fall asleep
We were still feeling incredibly full so we decided to do our first pixie dusting! Pixie dusting is a thing on Disney Cruise where you prepare gifts to give to other staterooms. For us, we decided to pixie dust the doors we like!
If you think we had put in alot of effort for our door, you haven’t seen the rest of the ship. lol

This was

effort

on a whole

new level
We enjoyed the pixie dusting and also looking at how others had done up their door. It was actually quite fun. So by the time we were done, it was close to 12am and we decided to retire for the night

Looking at the gifts we had received for the night which was like wow?! The amount of effort that people had put in was quite impressive

Also looking at the pins I had bought for the day! 😀 There were really many pretty pins onboard. It took alot of self-control

Good Morning to Day 2 which was a Princess-themed day
I decided to do a little of return-Pixie dusting, to those that had pixie dusted us and that made me went all over the decks and places

Enjoying more door deco as well

Breakfast was free and easy. We decided on Enchanted Summer restaurant – Olaf side on level 6 just cos the decor was so cute?
We actually took food from Maximus side cos we spied Mickey waffles being served. Olaf side didn’t have the waffles – no idea why. But nevertheless, you can sit at Olaf side still
Servers will come around asking you for coffee/tea though the complimentary coffee was really. bad.

Let it go..

Decor was on point

We decided to check out the shops on level 5 – World of Disney cos I wanted to start my pin trading and helped my friend get her ears. Pin trading is a terrible hobby – do not start

We really loved this artwork of the ship. It’s just so detailed

More Disney artworks
You can buy all these artworks from the kiosk and they shipped directly to your home. Well, they don’t come cheap of cos. Hearsay shipping is as expensive as the artwork itself. lol

We went for towel folding at Tiana Bayou’s Lounge cos there was no one there. And I have to say the crew was SO entertaining. Well, you have to respond back else it’s just very awkward. lol

Our towel art!

And the cutest thing happened when we were on the way to Garden Stage. We saw Duffy, Shellie May and Mickey on their way to work and waving hello to each other? HAHA. All these interactions really made being on the cruise so much fun

So at the Garden Stage.. which was selfie with Duffy and Friends – it was Gelatoni & Lina Bell!

You won’t know which characters will be there – so it’s simply pure luck. And since this is a selfie area, you whip up your phone and take a selfie with them. The characters do really try to be in your frame. But all I wanted was just a photo of them. lol
So after taking some photos, we head to Wayfinder Bar to catch Moana: Call of the Sea but we we were there too late so we got no seats and had to be in the sun for the bulk of the show

It was hot. die. us
Recommend to go at least 30 mins early so you can try to get a spot nearer to the bar. The show was.. okay I guess. I didn’t catch the movie so I couldn’t really relate to it but the songs were nice

We headed back to our room for abit to chill and the friends gave us Pooh blind box to open

Before our photo date with Minnie!!

Next on plan, lunch at Palo Trattoria which was one of the premium dining restaurants and of cos, that meant you need to pay additional for it. This was at USD55/pax and it was ala carte buffet dining style so you can also order as much as you like

Started with some complimentary bread basket and pastries

Our server, David was most entertaining ever. I wonder if they need to be enthusiastic and keep up with their persona all the time

He tried to draw us Mickey using balsamic vinegar. He failed once but yay to second time attempt!

Antipasti Selection – Snow Crab Claw, Lemon-marinated Shrimps, Marinated Green Lip Mussels, Spiced Ahi Tuna, Gravlax w Meyer Lemon, Dill Honey Mustard & Cocktail Sauce
There were 2 options for the antipasti platter and we went with the seafood option. Generally okay but nothing to shout about. The Ahi tuna was definitely better than what we had at Hollywood Spotlight Club

Poached Eggs on English Muffin – Rosemary Ham, Hollandaise Sauce (left) and Spinach, Asparagus, Mornay Sauce (right)
We started off with egg benedicts which were surprisingly very good. Like if you asked if there’s anything I would recommend, I suggest you order these poached eggs

Heirloom Tomato & Basil (left), Celery w Spiced Italian Sausage & Focaccia Croutons
One on the left tasted like a hearty bowl of rich and smooth pasta sauce while the celery soup was quite interesting. You definitely can taste hints of celery in it

Prosciutto Flatbread
They made the flatbread on the spot and you can see the chef making it on the side. Honestly, this flatbread was actually quite good. Coming from someone that don’t really eat pizza

Wild Mushroom Risotto (left) Roasted Red Snapper Fillet (right)

Parmesan-crusted Chicken Breast (left) Veal Satimbocca (right)
The nicest mains was the chicken. The rest were pretty meh. I would probably have given the waffles and pancakes a try

Buttermilk Panna Cotta w Strawberry Popping Pearls, Pistachio Crumble (left) Limoncello Tarte (right)
We were absolutely stuffed but David said we need to have desserts and so we moved on to desserts. I actually enjoyed the limoncello though generally both were quite sweet

They asked if we were celebrating anything

Well, we legit know each other for 20 years. So to 20 years of being friends 🙂

Hearsay Palo served the best coffee. We asked for takeaway. I guess it was better than your free breakfast coffee but cannot be compared to anything on land. Ha

We took a walk after a very filling lunch and found Mickey at the Garden Stage empty

So we spent some time taking photos under the very hot sun

Before checking out the shops and enjoying the aircon. Or more like checking if there’s any interesting pins to trade

We found a game trivia going on at Tiana’s Bayou lounge but the questions were so difficult!
We decided to try our luck for Ironcycle test run so we headed back up to level 18. The ride was having some maintenance cos it just broke down not long ago (the ride breaks down quite often. lol). We decided to just join the queue and see if the ride will resume and lo and behold, the ride was back up shortly. So we managed one round of the Ironcycle and it was really quite fun. But queuing 45 mins for a 2mins ride was not worth it. lol
We were feeling so warm so we headed back to the room to shower and chill for abit before heading back down to D’lounge at level 7

..to try our luck at Bingo. Well you have to buy the game to play but since we are already on the ship, there’s no harm giving it a try. Prize money was USD2500 for the one we participated in

We were also intensely refreshing the Disney app to book all our photo ops for the next day. I thought that was as exciting as Bingo itself cos it was kinda like fastest fingers first and we had to coordinate with our friends to make sure both staterooms get it
And no sadly, we didn’t win Bingo 😦 but, we did manage to book all our photo sessions 😀

We left the lounge and look who we found! Hey Stitch!

We decided to head to Buccaneer Bar on level 6 to find Lucy (yes again. We really love her singing)

and of cos, it’s Happy Hour time!

There was no microphone this time so she was trying her best to sing aloud so that we could all hear her. And it was really lovely to hear her sing all the Disney classics – which you can request for!

It was soon time to head to Animator’s table for dinner

which was an interactive dinner venue celebrating Disney & Pixar animation

Guests need to draw before you can start eating (literally) and your drawing comes to life while you enjoy the food

We started with a drink while waiting for the rest of the food to come

Bread Basket

Korean BBQ Beef Steamed Bao (left) Wonton Soup (right)
Well, the Korean BBQ steamed bao doesn’t taste anything like Korean bbq beef but the bao was very nice. Like it was soft and warm and nice. The wonton soup – we joked it tasted like those Chinese American stalls that you find in the US. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t authentic wonton soup either

Chicken Satay (left) Dragon Roll (right)
Satay was surprisingly not bad. The dragon roll was.. okay

We spied the other table with the Tinkerbell straw and the friend was sad the husband didn’t buy for her. HAHA. Well you could guess what happened in the end. The straw was really very cute

Pan Seared Scallops with Risotto (left) Murgh Makhani Butter Chicken (right)
Scallops tasted alright but the rice abit undercooked. The friends all loved butter chicken. I guessed this was a fail-proof butter chicken recipe. lol

Honey Roasted Duck & Papaya Salad (left) Tofu Poke (right)
There were too much carbs so I wanted more protein. I was glad I ordered the duck salad. It was definitely something different and washed off all the oil, carbs and whatsnot. The tofu poke was good as a whole too. But.. we pretty much left the rice untouched cos there were just too much carbs

Laksa Lemak
Finishing off with Laksa cos they recently changed the recipe and we were told to give feedback. The friend said this reminded him of Krisflyer lounge laksa, which I guessed is a very positive feedback?

Salted Caramel Cheesecake, Chocolate Decadence

Almond Pear Tart, Cookies & Cream ice cream Sundae
I had no idea what came over us and we ordered every single item on the dessert menu. lol. But I was glad we did. The desserts were surprisingly good. I loved the sundae

Our server folded a napkin rose for us before we left and we brought it back to the room
We were abit worried we couldn’t make it for the fireworks cos there was only one show for the entire cruise journey but I guessed they were experienced enough to know what time to end dinner entirely

So we made it to the show which was a Lion King-themed
By cruise standard, this was good. By Disney standard, this was well below expectations
And cos the whole ship was at level 18 and everyone needs to go down after the show ended, we decided to do more pixie dusting by walking the stairs all the way down to our staterooms

And that means visiting the higher floors

Spent some time at Spellbound Bar

The friends ordered the alcohol drinks while I went for the non-alcoholic drinks. But I have to say Witch’s Brew was a mistake. Cos I was seriously full and the sprite in the drink made it worse. lol. Also the pomegranate tasted a little weird. The Eternal Beauty Tea tasted better in my opinion
I took a sip of the friends’ drinks. Well, I don’t think Spellbound Bar serves the best cocktails. That’s all I can say
We also spent some time dancing with the people outside at the Royal Court cos there was a cardio session going on at 12am?!
What is sleep, you tell me

We finally decided to head back to our room which we were welcomed by a turndown service. So funny how our room keeping staff, Anan decided to use our ears as props. Good job!

And erms, taking a photo of all our pixie dust gifts we had received at the end of Day 2
At this rate this is going, we can open a mama shop. I mean we were really thankful for the gifts cos there were staterooms that had their gifts stolen or have no gifts at all. So we count our blessings for all the love received 🙂

We didn’t want to destroy the animal and decided to move it to the couch, replacing it with another ear

And theme for Day 3 – Colours to represent Disney characters!

We headed up to Pixar market on level 17 for breakfast, which was rather empty till

You can find the Pixar animations details all around

Was surprised to find fried carrot cake and hey, it was surprisingly not bad! It even came with a side of sambal chilli

That’s Gelatoni’s breakfast plate. Ha
First stop of the day

Meeting my favourite Mouse
There was a change of shift when it was about our time and you can distinctly sense the change of energy from the last character to the new one. Ours was so energetic and playful

Hello M I C K E Y 🙂

We headed down to San Fransokyo Street so that the friends can play some arcade

and get our morning coffee at Alley Cat cafe

where you can also choose the complimentary Disney art to go with it!
The friend says the coffee here tasted better than Palo’s
So while enjoying our coffee, we were waiting for Baymax to come to work

and Hello Baymax!
It’s so cute when the shutters roll up and he had to bend down to say hello to everyone

He’s a very cute character. You can do a fist bump with him or ask him to give you a hug

We made our way to Walt Disney theatre on level 6 to catch Duffy and the Friend Ship show. We were glad we were 45 mins early cos the line was so long..? Of cos we had to bring Gelatoni along. The show was SO cute. It used to be outdoors but they moved it indoors due to the heat. Though sadly, you cannot take photos now
Checking out the shop soon became a daily affair

Cos we realised they will replenish new pins designs?! This is how Disney earns your money. lol

We went to find Chip & Dale next, or more like we happen to catch them on the Garden Stage

while queuing for Stitch’s Ohana Grill, a fast-food concept on level 10

We were still pretty full from breakfast so we decided to just get 2 burgers to share

Gochujang Burger (left), Black & Blue Burger (right) and a side of Fried Chicken patty
Hearsay the Gochujang burger tasted the best. Even the lady whom was queuing infront of me was raving how fantastic it was. Let’s be honest, it brought up my expectations
Sadly, I don’t think it’s anywhere good?? The friends tried the Angus beef with blue cheese which I wasn’t a fan of. The fried chicken patty tasted absolutely dry on its own without any sauce
The best was the fries

We went out to have a selfie with Goofy and Pluto and they were so cute? They literally stood behind us and did all sort of poses. Pluto made sure we had a good photo before we left while Goofy was starting to get annoyed. HAHA
We unexpectedly bumped into Pluto again while walking around the ship and he gave me a headbump out of nowhere? I wasn’t expecting that. Glad the friend managed to capture it on video. I love all these interactions from the Disney characters

That’s group photo for Day 3!
We saw a toddler dressed as Captain America and he was so excited to hold the hammer and take a photo with it. It was seriously cute
Next up, photo op with Goofy!

Goofy was so interactive. He touched my sorcerer hat and turned into a frog?! And nobody could understand what he was doing. The staffs had to explain the narrative to us. LOL

He turned back to Goofy and took a proper photo with us. At least, this Goofy wasn’t annoyed with us. HA

The friend wanted to try the boba onboard which was supplied by Naixue so we headed up to get a drink. Drinks were alright. We chilled for quite abit before we decided that we needed a walk cos we had been eating and drinking non stop

So we went to try the ship funnel that had the Mickey logo with it, while also watching the kids playing in the pool like their time of their life. lol
We still had some gifts to give out (cos we were doing in batches) so we continued on our pixie dusting again. And we decided to visit the suite levels

which we happened to also take a peek at Elsa Royal Suite cos we were exchanging gifts (and everyone went WOW inside. lol)

Some guests were clearly very smart. There were cases of kids taking gifts unknowingly and in an attempt to counter that, they made something which only the owners can access. Ha

We were automatically booked for Remember show on Day 3 before dinner so we hastened to make our way to Walt Disney theatre. The show had a malfunction halfway and we thought it was part of the show. lol. Then we realised oh, they really had a malfunction. I felt like the pause kinda broke the rhythm of the performance. I mean it was still good..

Since we were still early, we headed to Wayfinder Bar for a drink. We were actually contemplating between Taverna Portorosso and Wayfinder Bar but decided that drinks at the latter sounded a little more interesting

And so here goes our pre-dinner drinks which were actually not bad!

Our rotational dining this time round was at Enchanted Summer restaurant – Maximus dining room and I must say this was the most boring out of all the rotational dinings. lol

We started with some, according to the servers, special matcha bread – which tasted absolutely nothing special

Hot Sour Soup (left) French Onion Soup (right)
The hot sour soup was bad. I’m not sure how the next table of Chinese find it but it was bad to us. French Onion soup definitely tasted better though a little on the saltier side

Summer Roll (left) Porcini Sacchetti (right)
I think you can just eat the prawns within the roll. The pasta was a little overdone

Pork & Shrimp Siewmai
The siewmai was the best. It was so good we had a second portion of it. lol

Mango-Chicken Salad(left) Halloumi Filo Parcel (right)
Some people really liked the filo pastry which is sweet potato mash wrapped with fried pastry skin. Well it was okay to me I guess

Seared Verlasso Salmon Filet (left) Roasted Prime Rib of Beef (right)
I thought the salmon was the most successful fish dish of the entire cruise journey. The rest of the fish dishes was either overcooked or tasted a little fishy. The beef, as you can tell, was a little too rare. We also conclude that all beef dishes on the rotational dining was not worth trying

Shiromaru
Ended with a tonkatsu ramen which was pretty meh

Lemon Thai Basil Tart (left) Chocolate Fudge Sundae (right)
Stick with sundae if you don’t know what dessert to have. The chocolate fudge sundae tasted like Macs chocolate fudge, which was really yummy
We left the dinner pretty quickly cos we wanted to rest early for the night

I decided to finish up all the pixie dusting so that we can tear down our door deco the next day so that we can stop receiving gifts
So while I went to take a walk around the ship, the friend decided to shower first. Said friend also unknowingly locked the door, resulting in me couldn’t go into the room after I was done. I thought my key card wasn’t working so I went down to guest services and the staff even went up with me to check. I think I almost knocked the door down. lol
So after some hoo-ha, the friend finally opened the door. So remember if you had locked the door from inside, your companion wouldn’t be able to enter until you unlock it

To our amazement, more gifts on Day 3. At the end of all 3 days, all our gifts were enough to fill up 3/4 of our bed. Okay but I admit, I personally think our door was very cute. Ha

And because it was also the England – Norway match, the kampung came together to watch the match. I’m impressed the kids could wake up so early to watch too

It was quite fun actually. The atmosphere was great
And cos the match got extended, we didn’t get time to rest. We went back to shower, get changed and went out for breakfast

We decided to check out Navigator’s Club on level 6 cos this would be our only chance to dine there

which is a maritime-themed restaurant

It’s a very pretty place with the artwork of Mickey & Minnie all around

The place wasn’t exactly packed probably cos we were rather early. But we had to time our breakfast with our photo op with The Princesses that was happening around the same time

Freshly Cut Fruit Bowl (left) Oatmeal w Maple Syrup & Pecans (right)
I was craving for some fruits while the friend really wanted to try the oatmeal. Fruits were very normal while the oatmeal was very filling. lol

Chicken Congee w Youtiao (left) Sliced Smoked Salmon w Cream Cheese (right)
The congee was actually quite nice while the salmon was also decent

Omelette with Hash Brown (left) French Toast (right)
Well, eggs cannot go wrong. French toasts were a little dry. Thankfully we had the maple syrup from the oatmeal to pair with

Chicken Sausage Hash (left) Kimchi Fried Rice (right)
The best dish was actually the kimchi fried rice. It was really quite tasty. We were all surprised
So after ordering the dishes, we quickly went to find the Princesses at the Royal Court

And there’s Jasmine, Ariel & Snow White!
The princesses were so in character. Jasmine told me to take care of my carrot pen lest it gets stolen, Ariel said she will swim with us later and Snow White loves my little friend – Judy. She even told me she will be a very good help with housework. lol
After we were done with the photo taking, we went back to finish our breakfast. But I was so sad we had missed the last call for breakfast. I wanted to order more portions 😦

We head down to Tiana’s Bayou Lounge for our daily coffee fix which was very empty. The towel folding activity was going on next door as well

We had to give their cold brew cocktails a try cos it’s the only place with cold brew cocktails. Yes you heard right, cocktails for breakfast. lol. The drinks were really good. Just that the cocktails took quite some time to come which was quite strange since there was no crowd?
The friend wanted to try the beignet. We were told the portion was really small so she got 2 of it. I was shocked at the not-so-small portion. lol

After which we went to catch we-fie with Zootopia cos it was the only day the show was on. There were alot Judys around. I was amused. I felt like they should have done a show with Zootopia instead. What a pity

Cos we had to take a group photo together with theme of the day – Friends of Disney!

It was soon time for our paid Champagne tasting so we head down to Buccaneer Bar

There were 5 champagne to taste and a complimentary macaron. We were glad we brought along our own snacks as well cos you know alcohol and snacks must go together. It was quite an educational session though the champagne we tasted were probably not the best. I mean, you cannot expect too much right

We went back to our rooms to rest after that cos the World Cup team was very tired after waking up so early. And.. we found our luggage tags already prepared for us in our room. We were Team Cinderella! Your luggages had to be left outside your room by 10pm on the last night of the cruise so that the porters can deliver it to the cruise centre

One last photo of our all Disney friends that included the friends’ and ours. Suddenly I felt like.. wow, we brought alot of stuffs. lol

We took the opportunity to pack our bags and tear down our door deco cos we simply don’t want to receive any more gifts. And of cos I had to take a photo of my pins – the new and the old. Ha
The friends and I decided to regroup again for dinner so we were free to choose whatever we want to do in the meantime

And the friend and I decided to head to Infinity Pool on level 18 which was adults only

We spent a good 45 mins chilling there and enjoying the view and directing people how to take photographs before heading back

I was amused to find 2 balloons left outside our door as gifts, like hello, why? We already had no door deco! Our gifts had clearly been upgraded as well
It was soon time for dinner and we made our way to Mike & Sulley’s! Cos it was the last night and we had to have a wonderful dinner to end the holiday

Mike & Sulley’s was a 4-concept restaurant comprising of Sushi & Sashimi, Japanese Steakhouse, Omakase & Teppanyaki. Well we had originally booked the Teppanyaki. We changed our mind and went for the Steakhouse instead

King Crab Tartlet, Muskmelon, Yuzu Agar, Caviar
This was really good. The tartlet was made so thinly and you could taste the sweetness of the crab meat but I liked how the overall flavour come together with the yuzu agar and melon

Asparagus w Beni Shoga Hollandaise, Bonito Flakes (left)
Mixed Mushrooms, Sake, Lime Butter (right)
Sides for sharing, pretty good as well

A5 Kuroge Satsuma Ribeye (left) Shimo Fullblood Striploin (right)
I think this was the best beef we had eaten for the entire cruise. It made paying for these steaks really worth it. If you want a good piece of steak, come Mike & Sulley’s. Forget about ordering those at rotational dining

Donabe Wagyu Beef Rice
The donabe came with Fullblood Wagyu Striploin. But personally I thought the donabe was just alright

Black Cod, Coriander-Shoyu Naga, Spinach Bean Curd
The cod with the beancurd, on the other hand, was surprisingly delicious. Cod was well-cooked and the spinach bean curd made a contrasting balance to the dish

Basque Ube Cheesecake, Blue Butterfly Pea Flower Crème, Matcha Tuile (left)
Chocolate-Hazelnut Roll Crêpe, Citrus Whipped Ganache, Pistachio Tuile (right)
And cos we had to get some desserts. The friends liked the ube cheesecake but I preferred the chocolate one. They were decent but not wow
So you thought we were done with food and drinks

Nope. We went to check out Marvel Style Studio on level 6 that transformed into a speakeasy bar at 8pm

I guess it’s a cool place for kids in the day

But it’s a even cooler place for adults at night. Ha. You get all sorts of whisky here and you get to decide what style you would like to have it

So we chose our whisky and went old-fashioned with it. It was really fun to watch him make the drinks for us
And smoking the whisky with the wood chips

It was an amazing whisky. No regrets to it
And then we had to quickly run for the Avengers show at 8.45pm cos we had missed it the day before and it was the only show for us to watch it

I didn’t really enjoy it cos I’m not really a fan of Avengers. And Spiderman ran down the stairs and instead of swinging down cos there was a malfunction with the props. lol. But still all the kids love it. So you should still go watch it
Then we quickly head up to our room after the show ended to do last minute packing and move our luggages out of the room. I have to say the housekeeping staffs were very efficient. The luggages disappeared in a whim of an eye
We didn’t want to rest yet, so we walked around the ship for abit

Just too pretty ❤

I guess everyone was thinking the same? There were so many people still up and kids were just playing all around
We heard music coming from D’lounge and I took a peep inside

and Stitch was dancing?!
So this was only for adults and not opened to kids. I love it. Like the adults get to enjoy and dance with Stitch and everyone just gave each other enough space to dance together. It was so fun, until some kids also came running into the lounge and Stitch disappeared. Sniffs
Adults also want to have fun you know
Then we went down to Tiana’s Bayou Lounge cos Lucy was singing there and it was so crowded?! lol. We stayed for abit before deciding it was time to head to bed
By the time I opened my eye, we were already docked at the cruise centre. Boo. We had breakfast at Pixar Market cos it felt like it was the only place that was opened for breakfast. And the whole place was very crowded. But we were glad that they had already start asking passengers with various tags to start disembarking

At some point, they had stopped announcing over the system and everyone could just disembark already. But we refused! (I’m joking)

We just wanted to go to Spellbound to get coffee

With more cute Disney art!
Okay we were literally one of the last to leave the ship

and back at the cruise centre in no time. Look at how empty it was with not many luggages left. I have to say the staffs were really efficient. The only thing I would complain about was the jam at the pickup point when you call for grab/taxi. There’s just so many people waiting for their car vs cars trying to come in

Goodbye Cinderella

and Goodbye Disney Cruise
You were really fun while it lasted. So much fun that I had no time to sleep the entire cruise journey
But I said this to many people – you need to love Disney in order to enjoy Disney cruise, else it will just be a very normal cruise to you
Also do note things get changed progressively onboard. So what you read now might be different by the time you set sail
