By the people behind 63Celsius, the team opened a new branch at Paragon. I had never visited their first outlet at Asia Square even though it was located within close proximity. Don’t ask me why. The second outlet has 2 seatings areas – the outside with high tables and the inside which has more privacy. The place isn’t big but you can make reservations if you want to. They serve a range of menu, from beef, seafood, pasta to chicken rice. And brunch is served 9am-4pm daily
Smile of A Summer Night $16
The cocktail was refreshing with Gin as base and a mixture of cucumbers and mint. Something that is easy to drink and I would love to order again
Scrambled Eggs on Truffled Toast $20
Wild Forest Mushrooms, Black Truffle Dust
The smell of truffle was evident and the amount of egg was too much in my opinion. The portion would be good for sharing. There wasn’t much truffle on the toast but I think it was a okay dish overall
Prawn & Oysters $25
Linguine, Oysters, Prawns, Kombu, Garlic, Chilli, Fried Egg
Choice of mild or spicy. We went for the latter. It was really quite spicy but pretty addictive to taste. The agile olio styled pasta was executed nicely and the flavours packed quite a punch overall
Wylarah Wagyu Striploin (200g) $48
Kombu Butter, Wild Forrest Mushrooms, Pea Tendrils
Beef was nicely done with a nice charred taste on the outside. The tendrils seem a little out of place. I thought the beef went well just like this
Flat White $5.50
Using beans from Allpress Coffee Roasters, the coffee seem a little light at first but has a milky, velvety finish
Overall the food was pretty decent. I like that they have a range of menu to choose from. It felt like a good place to catch up over a meal or to chill in town if you need more places to choose from. Definitely a place I won’t mind returning for. They serve truffle fries too, if P.S cafe is too crowded. #justsaying
