I’m excited blogging about this cos it was my birthday weekend retreat at Capella Singapore. Located at Sentosa, on top of a hill as a matter of fact, it was a task to trek up there cos 1) we totally had no clue where it was and 2) it was raining like crazy! 😦 But upon checking in and being introduced to our awesomeee 77 sqm room, we were in awe man. HAHA
Was quite sad it was raining cos I really wanted to swim
Very huge beds
The super nice view from our room facing the main entrance!
This is our walk-in wardrobe and nope, I’m not kidding
The awesome bathtub which you can see the people/view outside but nope, they can’t see you from the outside.
And the shower head behind the wall
Everything is remote controlled.
My fav spot of the room! hehehe
and my ootd of the day w Lacepipe embroidered mesh top in sky blue
Dragged WL along to pose as well. 😀
A welcome from the Personal Assistant team.
What makes Capella unique is probably their team of Personal assistants, who will get in touch with contact with you prior to your stay and see if any help is required. But I was very sad that I have no cake in my room (cos I was really expecting one) since they knew I was celebrating my birthday. 😦 BOOO. Capella, why you like thatt.. But that aside, anyone who been to Capella will know the library is a place you cannot miss out visiting. Other than a whole collection of books and newspaper for you to enjoy over a cup of tea and coffee, they have a full spread of scones, chocolates and cakes for you take as well and yes, it’s complimentary 🙂
Ordered a pot of Jasmine Rose tea which was perfect for a tea time snack 🙂
Head back to the room to freshen up and got surprised with this by the dearest friends!
🙂
The staffs will drop by your room to drop some fresh fruits and chocolates for your consumption which I thought it was really thoughtful. Though it was hilarious to describe the situation at that point of time. The staff must thought me and WL were really weird. OOPS.
Head out for dinner at Sentosa Cove instead rather than dining at the hotel itself cos Quayside Isle probably have a wider choice of restaurants to dine from. I’m not saying Capella has little to choose from, but it would definitely be pricier. Shall do my dinner write up in my next post! So please anticipate it 🙂 Nevertheless, the night was well spent and rested. Capella will definitely be one of my all time fav staycations in Singapore (though it’s not cheap) Pssst, the minibar is for you to take as well.
Thank you friends for the wonderful time 🙂
