The Clubroom – An Intimate Extension of Luke’s Oyster Bar & Chop House

The friends are always in a headache on where to bring me out for my birthday cos they said it’s so difficult to find a place I’ve never been before. Ha. Hence, that’s why I always choose the place. Anyways, the friend decided on The Clubroom which is an extension of Luke’s oyster bar & Chophouse

The restaurant was quiet on the weekend and really depicts an old style steakhouse with its elegance and charm

Really love the vibes here

Complimentary Olives

When they gave us some complimentary olives to start, the friend and I looked at the olives for some time cos we weren’t a fan of it. I took a bite of it, and told them to clear the rest away. Ha

Half Dozen Oysters $57

I forgot the name of the oysters but they were good. For people who aren’t fan of oysters or who don’t really dare to try, you can be assured the oysters here are as fresh as they can be and had no fishy taste to it

Lobster ‘Popcorn’ $58

A sizeable portion of lobster meat coated in a thin layer of batter. I like that you can really taste the lobster meat and you could taste a little kick in them

Luke’s Tenderloin au Poivre 300g $105 (Topped with Magic Onions $8), Crab Cakes ‘Club Style’ $88

Served Turf & Surf style, they split the tenderloin and crab meat equally for us

The tenderloin was not bad but I definitely preferred the crab cake more. It was packed with abundance of crab meat with pack of flavours and executed well

French Fries $22

I love fries but considering we looked like we ordered alot of food, we requested for a small portion. But after we finished up the entire portion, I said maybe we should have ordered the bigger portion. lol

Clubroom Mille Feuille $18 (left) Chip Cookies $18 (right)

Desserts were too much of a portion. I recommend the cookies and cream. I’m not sure if they make their own cookie but it was really good. And the small portion of milkshake was satisfying to go along with it

I actually liked this place for its quietness on a weekend and food was decent overall. Though I wouldn’t know if the peacefulness might be the same for a weekday. But if you are looking for somewhere classy, you could give this place a try
