Christmas is my favourite season of the year. It’s the season of dining and giving and spending and I look forward to all my Christmas parties each year. As the group gets bigger (and perhaps I got lazier), I decided to cater my feast from Orange Clove this year. I went for the International buffet (drop off menu) instead of the usual Christmas menu since there was a larger selection, complete with sake, macarons and tart from Goodwood Park π

My small tree bursting with presents!

Delivery was very prompt and I like the fuss-free packaging that was easy to handle

Cutlery was provided by the caterer but I chose my own table setting instead

And the menu includes Aglio Olio, Broccoli with Almond Flakes, Fish Fillet with Orange Sauce, Country Chicken Stew, Thai Style Prawns, Black Pepper Beef, Crab Pincer, Chocolate Eclair and Honeydew Sago

Spaghetti Aglio Olio w Mushrooms

Crab Pincers

Deep Fried Fish Fillet with Orange Sauce

Broccoli with Almond Flakes

Thai Style Prawns

Country Chicken Stew

Black Pepper Beef

Chocolate Eclair
The food was pretty good and delicious with the deep fried items well-cooked and the other meat tender. It was actually better than the Christmas menu I’ve tried earlier at my company’s lunch. Though I think we got pretty thirsty after the meal

Decked in sports outfit!

Full of nonsense

When you got a kid in your group

You tend to focus more on the kid

And after 2 hours of playing, we were very tired already. ha #signsofaging

Happy Birthday WL!

Letting the kid blow the candle but after 10 tries, the flame still hasn’t gone out =X

Caramel Chocolate Tart from Goodwood Park
It was one of their new Christmas item so I got it to try. I thought the tart was rather normal. It wasn’t exactly wow, though the focus tends to be on the caramel with overwhelming sweetness. Perhaps I should just stick to their durian items

With Christmas finally over, I can finally unwrapped all my presents! π
