New restaurant of the month: Supply & Demand at Esplanade Mall. I wanted somewhere accessible (and new) so we settled on this place. And since we planned a prank on our 2 birthday girls, we needed somewhere that held halloween parties or were in theme. And coincidentally they fit the bill. hehe don’t be fooled by the words ‘rooftop bar’ and think that they are located on the highest floor of the mall. No, they are not. I found out from the map they were beside Thai Express but the restaurant has an upper view that overlooks the bay which I thought is a good place to chill.
Supposedly a restaurant/bar w Italian/Peru food concept. So many combination. haha
Showing the peru menu. Well, the italian menu is just different pizzas and different pastas in either tomato, cream or olive oil.
Garlic Truffle Fries (Peru menu)
Tasteless. Should have gone with Fries w a side of guilt instead. But oh wells. haha
Mixed Platter (Peru Menu)
Probably the best dish of the night. Love every single meat on the plate.
Roasted half chicken w 2 sides (Grilled Menu)
Looks pathetic. Tasted normal
Arabbiatta w minced meat & chorizo (Italian menu)
This was not too bad. Love the minced meat & the chorizo sausages
Morning After (Italian menu)
Well, forgettable. I think Pepperoni serves better pizza.
Brownie w sea salt caramel
Smores mudpie
Sadly, nothing too fantastic on both desserts. They are just… cakes.
Well the plan was to make both of them dress up for halloween while we did not which explains the ridiculous photo here. hahaha
But Happy Birthday girls!!! π

Food here isn’t great. But it’s a pretty good place to chill & catch up if you just need a place to eat with quality of food being secondary. Besides, prices are pretty reasonable. Given a choice, I doubt I will go back there though I have to say, service that night was really awesome. So I hope the service can make up for the food instead! π
