Finding a nice place for Sunday brunch with the girlfriends seem like a difficult task since many places that I felt like trying are closed on Sundays. Then a place crossed my mind and we are back at Maison Boulud again. I first saw their weekend brunch menu online and thought it looked interesting. Priced at $88++, the set menu comprises of viennoiserie, starter, mains and desserts and you could also add on their ala carte if you like to. We got 2 sets to share and also add on additional food cos.. greedy you know. Ha

TARTE CITRON MERINGUÉE
Lemon Tart, Torched Italian Meringue
We had both the chocolate fondant and lemon meringue tart from the set menu. The chocolate fondant was delicious, with thick and gooey chocolate oozing out from the soft chocolate cake. The lemon tart… was really pungy in flavours. If you want one that wakes you immediately, you can give this a try

PAIN PERDU $16
French Toast, Berry Compote, Crème Fraîche
The French toast was done really well. Soft, fluffy with a sweetness that followed through, It was quite delicious
Glad the meal at Maison Boulud was still as enjoyable and the friends and little one all had a good time. Though there were definitely some items that were better than others, but I guess there’s always room for improvement. It still made a good place to consider if you are in the area or looking for one to have a good meal
