The friend jio-ed to give this place a try so off we go on a weeknight. Located at Far East shopping centre, it’s probably one place I don’t venture often and point to note, it’s not Far East Plaza. Cos some of the customers actually went wrong building

Located on the fifth floor, it’s quite easy to spot. It’s a cosy little joint and chef Patrick will drink with you from time to time. Also, they can do song dedications. It’s quite a unique izakaya I must say

Eihire $12
Grilled Stingray Fin

While waiting for the friend to arrive, I ordered some sake and stingray fin to start. She was very pleased snacks and drinks were ready waiting for her

Fresh Oysters
Irish $13 / USA $8 / Hyogo Murosu $12
Personal favourite, the Japanese oysters. It had the perfect balance of plump, sweet and texture

Negitoro Tartare $22
Good starter to have if you want something light. Goes well with seaweed

Garlic Shrimps $20
Very flavourful, nicely cooked shrimps

Chicken Liver $12
Chicken liver here is teppan-style. The friend seemed to enjoy this very much

Bonjiri Karaage $12
While I definitely preferred the chicken tail karaage more. It’s meaty, crisp and goes well with alcohol

House Curry
We saw a huge pot of curry sitting infront of us and we were asked for half portion to go with our garlic fried rice. I have to say it definitely went very well. There was an option of if we wanted the curry sauce thick or thin and we asked for thin so it could be more soup-like

Garlic Fried Rice $18
And this teppan-style garlic fried rice with fried egg was just yummy. The fragrance of the garlic with the runny yolk running through it was a good end to the meal. I was so full at this point

Daifuku of the Day $10
But of course, there was always room for dessert! The daifuku was actually pretty good. You know how you just want something sweet but light to end your meal. I say this daifuku was a good choice
