Decided to check out the new outlet by 6 Letter Brunch at Crawford lane since we were looking for a place that opens early and you will be glad to know they open at 9am. This is the newest outlet, located just inside Outpost Climbing and it was rather empty when we reached at 930am. We liked the emptiness cos that means we don’t need to feel stressed about leaving as soon we are done

Flat White

The friends enjoyed the coffee very much but while I thought it was a little flat for me

Arabiki Sausage & Pancakes $13

Pancakes, Small Pork Sausages, Sunny Side Up, Maple Syrup, Mixed Salad

The arabiki sausages were delicious and I enjoyed the texture of the pancakes though the friends found it too thick for their liking. But the pancakes were generally well done and it’s definitely good to share

6 Letter Brunch Rosti $21

Rosti, Norwegian Smoked Salmon, Sunny Side Up, Avocado, Fresh Fruits, Mixed Salad

The friend recommended the rosti. I thought it was not bad but not the best. Was a little sad they didn’t have shiitake mushrooms and were replaced by edamame which weren’t my favourite. This whole plate felt a little too healthy for me. lol

Waffle with Sea Salt Caramel Gelato

So we ended off with a waffle with some gelato which was okay I guess

I wouldn’t say the food was fantastic. It was average at best but I thought the location was strategic since it gives those people waiting for their kids to be done with Outpost a place to hangout and chill over coffee and ice cream. I would recommend this place for those looking for a quiet cafe for the weekend (if you go early enough that is) and you could spend some time talking to your friends
